// EXHIBITION 1 // OPENING HOURS: 14–21 Oct 11am–3pm
This exhibition presents artwork made in Stage 1 of the program. Open for a week during NSW Mental Health Month, the exhibition is intended to raise awareness of mental health, celebrate National Carers Week and is part of THE BIG ANXIETY: festival of arts + science + people.

After Exhibition 1 Myco Logic will continue to evolve as a participatory project until Dec 2017.

Come and join artist facilitator Elizabeth Day for fun, hands-on sessions to make fungi-inspired artwork and contribute to the growing field in the pavilion. Workshops are free and open to anyone in the community whose lives have been impacted by mental illness. Places are limited so registrations are essential.

// EXHIBITION 2 // OPENING HOURS: 25 Nov–3 Dec 11am–3pm
This exhibition presents artwork made in Stages 1 and 2 of the program networks inside and outside the hospital context.

// VENUE // Heritage Courtyard Pavilion, 160 Marsden St, Parramatta, NSW 2150.
The Heritage Courtyard Pavilion is in Parramatta Justice Precinct. The building is adjacent to Jeffrey House (Parramatta Community Health Centre) and in front of the NSW Department of Justice, Attorney General’s Office and the NSW Registry for Births, Deaths and Marriages. This venue is wheelchair accessible.

 

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body. The program at Cumberland Hospital (WSLHD, NSW Health) has been developed with consumer and carer advocates, and the Recovery Services team. The exhibition venue has been supported by Property NSW.
